Schroth Harness Installed (pic)
Still preparing for Nationals in a few weeks. Installed a very nice Schroth harness today, it was a little bit of a pain in the ***, but not too bad...
And yes guys, this will only be used while autoxing...

If you're worried about the angle, why aren't you worried about a rollbar!?

I knew somebody would bring that up (who hasn't heard somebody say that a million times on this board?). George, like I said, this will only be used while autoxing. I am perfectly aware of the dangers in using the harness on the street or HPDE without a rollbar.

Autox = top speeds around 60-65mph. If the car flips going that fast, I don't think the roof will cave in and present any danger to the driver. Folks need to chill when it comes to discussing harnesses and take into mind the application they are being used for.
But yeah, that's about how I have my harness, only I run mine through the headrest (the part that holds the headrest to the seat).

Looks good!!! I have the Rallye 3 harness with the single shoulder belt going to the shoulder anchor point for the rear seat. It will keep you as snug as a bug in a rug. Good luck at the Nationals.

Yeah, I felt like a harness snob with you flailing around in the passenger seat...
It was good to see you Kevin, and your new Volks look like butter...
