The sad fact of physics is that driver's suits protect you from heat and flame by being a thermal barrier. In order to allow cooling, the suit has to NOT be a thermal barrier. It really comes down to whether you are wearing a suit to protect you from fire or because the sanctioning body requires it...

You mean I should'nt get one with built in methanol fuel cells ?
I am more looking for oppinions of suit quality and material strength than is this suit better than sparco's 1400 dollar Primo espec'ial ltd.

The NASA suit works very well in the hot weather. If you are concerned about better protection wear a set of underwear.
Quality is about middle of the road. I never had a problem but I take care of my suits. No changing tires or oil in your race suit

yes it would be one of them. going around williow springs in July with two sets of nomex on really gets toasty. but them spending the money only to have to buy another one in 6 mos would iritate me even more
I would like to do some endurance racing and this would be a really big plus come hour 3. I don't weigh hardly anything now but after comming out of my old sparco suit after an hour I'm like Kate Moss.
