is it a common problem for Honda Accords to have their tachometers just stop working, its odd, i was driving and the tach worked fine, and the i stopped off at a friends place for 20 minutes, then restarted and that POS didnt work after that, it had an odd jump after that, for like an hour, but then it stopped completely, then the fuel guage goes and shoots out a little while later, im thinking its some kind of short or something, but the MPH and the temp guage both work, i tell ya, just my luck!

 

replace ur ignition coil. Mine did that and was fixed by replacing the ignition coil. Try checking ur coil's resistance to verify it's operation.

 

you know what, my ignition coil, man, if i told you the trouble my car has been through in the last six months, it would make your hair stand on end, the ignition coil, distributor and a whole bunch of other **** has crapped out and i changed it all and its all messed up, if thats the case im ready to burn the car and collect on it
