Any big differences between a Sparco REV and Pro 2000 seats
OK guys here it is...
I can buy one 2 week old REV with brackets, sliders, etc for $435
or a pair of used Pro 2000 seats with sliders, brackets, etc for $700.
What do you take?
Oh keep in mind I am 6 feet tall and 160 lbs 33" waist. It looks like the REV is a smaller tighter fit, where the Pro 2000's are a little bigger. Would they be too big for me??? I want to try these seats out, but there are no distributors in the North East within 3.5 hrs... Argg!

The Pro 2000 pair for $700 seems like the beter deal, I have the Rev and like it a lot it fits real good with my 32in waist. I assume that both Fiberglass and not Carbon Fiber. The Adjustable Lumbar supports sounds cool.
I relize that this wasn't your question, but I just asked one of the guys at OG what the difference between the the Pro2000 and Evo was. The Pro2000 has a little bit more support in the lower side area, above your hips. You can see it in the profile. The Evo has a tighter shoulder area. The "wings" for the shoulders curve in a bit more than the Pro2000, so the Pro2000 has a little more freedom in the shoulders. Not sure what differences there are in construction.
Now maybe if someone can compare the Evo to the Rev, you will have an answer.

Both are fiberglass and both are used. The Pro's seem like a better price, but they are also more used. The REV is basically brand new. Any more opinions?
Personally, I prefer the REV to the EVO. It is a tigher fit for my 33-1/2" waist. I'm 5'10-1/2" tall as well as 145lbs. The support in the REV is excellent for my needs. I spent time at OG in both the REV and EVO before making my choice. Even after a number of days on track the REV is unchanged in comfort and fit.
Your decision should be based on fit and comfort. No 2 of us are alike and it is like buying shoes so far as I'm concerned. Then again the REV can be modified by an auto upholstery shop to better fit you. Some seats are not made this way.

I have the Pro 2000, and I'm 5'11" and 210 lbs. My waist is 34", and it fits me perfectly. I'm currently running in CSP here in Canada, which is kinda like a cross between your prepared and SP (no slicks, but alot more prep than SP). The seat is not too tight, and it was suggested to me that the EVO would have been. I would likely have gone with the EVO 2 had this opportunity to pick up the Pro 2000 for a good price ($400 including side mounts), after having tried it out first did not present itself.
