if its gonna cost me money to fix i guess i'll just deal with... it doesnt bother me enough to spend money on it, if it didnt work at all, that would be a different story

of course, as he puts up his next post from the computer at the dealership, where they took his car after he ran out of gas...it might be smarter to find a smashed up accord or something and get that sending unit if its readily removeable, i'd suggest it, either that or get AAA+...good luck bro

lol its not that bad, it just moves a lot when i have not so much gas in the tank... i guess its because with a big empty tank the fuel moves around a lot when i stop at a light and i look down and the gauge is lower or higher than it should be. **** it.

Word.

All the Accords I've owned had crappy fuel guages, and it seems Honda wasn't too preoccupied with this, because it has been a problem on almost all of their cars. And if you tried to solve the problem, it would come back running pretty quickly, so just a big waste of money.

But it seems they fixed the problem, at least on the TSX, I can read the guage, and trust it. As much as the others were not exact, this one is very precise.

But like it was said, don't waste your money on it, learn to know its patterns, and follow your mileage odometer, and carry a small gallon of gas just for safety.

It's just not worth it. The problem will come back running.

I think they got the gauge right on the 6th gen as well. mine seems to be very consistant and accurate.
