i need to know exaclty what to expect when i convert my gsr's LCA's to ITR's. how about the ABS brake lines? should they be replaced? or are they fine? my car has only 4600 miles on it. are theyre any benefits with having the ITS's lower control arms? anyone in northern jersey recommmend a good place to get this done?

i should have been a bit more exact...i am switching to type r shocks but i wanted to know if the LCA's made any type of difference
Yes, the itr rear lower arms are differnt in design... if you are going to use the ITR struts, you must use the LCA... as far as the abs line goes, you can change the lines if you want to spend the loot or you can modify the existing lines... as far as a shop that would do it for you, why pay a shop... if you dont want to do it your self, you can pay me...
the outer ABS line bolt-hole will mate up to holes on the new ITR LCA for you, but the inner ABS line bolt-hole will not line up properly. and you can use a zip tie to secure it to the LCA there... very easy solution as well.
My car seemed to be a bit more tail happy with the new shocks and LCA's, but who knows if that comes from the different shock valving or the different LCA design.
I did the install myself but had new bolts on hand and had to drill out FOUR of the old bolts-
2 LCA bolts, 1 endlink bolt and 1 lower shock bolt.
here is what I did as far as zip ties.... GOOD LUCK!

thanks for your reply's....greatly appreciated. the only reason i was asking about the abs line was because i remember super street did some kind of feature on converting a gsr to type r (anyone remember?) and they claimed you had to get ITR abs lines.
