d15b2/92-95 cx man. tranny/89 civic AT chassis...which mounts?
we're using the stock motor (d15b2) but converting the tranny (auto) to a 92-95 manual cx tranny. its an '89 4door civic chassis (auto). we tried using several mounts, and we're having a lot of trouble. i've read that the engine bays are the same from manual to automatic, but something's not working right.... which mounts can we/should we use?? the front mount (crossmember mount) isn't going to be used, b/c well, the tranny. we need answers for drivers side, rear t-bracket, and tranny side mount.
btw, i searched and i couldnt find exactly what i'm looking for. TIA guys....

from what i've heard u need the 92-95 trany mount modified alittle.. 92-95 rear bracket, stock motor mount u might have to move it over closer to the drivers side. The drivers side mount should be the same between both.. as for the front ur gonna have to do something custom. then u gotta solve the problem of the hydrolic clutch.. best advice, go get a 88-91 trany..

we already have a 92+ tranny, theres people who have used this tranny, so would "92-95 trany mount modified alittle.. 92-95 rear bracket, stock motor mount u might have to move it over closer to the drivers side. The drivers side mount should be the same between both" be accurate?

yes but for the amount that it's going to cost you for all of the adaptor parts to mount it and make the clutch work... it's cheaper to just go out and get a 88-91 tranny.

the making the clutch work is not a problem, it already works...., all we need now is to find out which mount to use for the passangers side tranny mount, if we need to cut and modify the mount on the body(even though we've heard the auto/manual bodies are the same) or if we just need to get a mount from a 92-95 civic, and for the rear which t-bracket we have to use, I believe we have to move the mount on the body towards the drivers side(holes are already there for them), and also if we can use the stock d15b2 timming belt mount of if we need it off another year..thanks
