Default Will coilovers from a 1996+ civic fit on the ITR?

Just wondering if the shocks from a 1996+ civic will fit on ITR's? Does anyone have a definite answer?

TIA
Jon

yes but if you are trying to put the civic shocks on then you must change
the itr rear lower control arm to that of a regular integra or civic.

Sgt-
So will the front ones fit without a problem? Is it pretty easy to bolt the regular integra lower control arm onto the ITR chassis?

thanks for your help,
Jon

So, my next question is "Are there any negative effects to bolting up a set of coilovers designed for a civic and using them in an ITR?"

weight wise - i would say that the spring rates might be too low - but it depends on the coilover

since the coilover is designed for the civic, idunno if its the best to put it on your integra, seeing that it is a much heavier car. also, changing your rear lower control arm to fit civic sus, its a way weaker piece.

Well, I'm looking at a set of Tein HR's. I was wondering if there were any companies that made billet lower control arms for integras/civics?

The HR Should be the same as the HA in that they require the ITR Rear LCA which you already have on the car

So do you think that they will fit on the ITR without any modifications? Does Tein make a 1996+ civic specific kit that would allow the coilovers to bolt up to the civic chassis without the ITR control arms?

thanks,
Jon
