FS: 1988 CRX HF w/ d16a6 Northern VA
It was going to be a project car mostly for an entry in East Coast Honda Challenge. However, due to becoming a father, a large promotion at work, and focusing on getting my racing license, I have had little time or money left over for the car.
d16a6 Engine:
Recently rebuilt (bought it used from a local swap shop) due to blown headgasket. Also did timing belt, water pump, alternator belt, plugs and accel wires at same time.
Has Pacesetter header but no mid pipe. Has brand new catback and dynomax exhaust (not installed).
Chassis:
Fastbrakes Front 11" Integra Disc Brakes with Stainless Steel Lines. Car has hubcentric rings and 2mm spacers for the larger brakes to fit the 15" wheels.
Rear Disc Conversion (have not installed ss lines but will include them).
Car has PU shifter bushings.
Car has 15" steelies with less than 3k miles on stock OEM Michelins that came on our 2k1 Civic.
What I will include not attached to car:
Tanabe racing medallion catback "b" pipe (axleback with muffler was stolen).
Rear SS brake lines that were not installed.
Extra ECUs (SI and HF)
Car Condition:
Chassis has over 260k miles on it but handles well.
Car is gutted (no ac or radio).
Body is in average to poor condition with dents and some rust.
Current Status:
Car is not running as distributor maybe bad. Car will need a midpipe from a stock crx.
Car will need to be towed.
Want to sell local only (will not deliver as I don't have time).
First $1000 obo who can pick it up gets the car...for an HF Shell this is a good deal especially when its almost running.
