Default Falken Azenis tires

I just had a little question. Some people were saying that the Falken Azenis were not good drag tires, but thats like the exact oppisite I've heard from people on this board. All I am going to be doing is drag racing, no auto-x for me.

Aren't these suppose to be some sticky tires? Works for me. That's what I'm doing with mine that I just got. If I could only get them mounted.

Well the Azenis are really sticky tires and great for cornering, but they are not the best tire for drag racing. The sidewalls are actually really stiff on the Azenis, which is not good for drag racing as you actually need the sidewalls to be a little softer. Also they are not like street slicks where u need to heat them up.

That pretty much sums it up. Look elsewhere for a drag racing tire; I don't think Falken had that in mind when designing the Azenis.
