Default asking the experts

I just got me a 90 HB dx, si? Dont care with a zc motor that has just been pulled out Can I install a b18 a out of a 92 integra? Will it all work out or are there some special needs I can find out about before hand. The car is for pure race.(fun) So function weighs much more than fasion , no ac ps Just engine tranny and fun...

Thanks for any advice.

yes but you'll need to buy the Motor mount kit to bolt up the bseries motor to your EF.

here's a company that makes them.

I would rather have you go buy a kit from hasport.

what year integ is it comin out of???90-91 will bolt right in(with the mounts shift linkage ecu and other mic. things) 92-93 is different because its obd-1 apose to the non-obd of the 90-91. so you will have to get a wiring harness and alot of other things, so try for the 90-91 if you can, its a little easier.

get the complete 92 teggy motor with its matching ECU, and get a conversion harness (obd0 to obd1) along with some aftermarket mounts and modified shift linkage and you should be set. As long as u have all the OBD-1 electronics, it would actually be cheaper to just buy the conversion harness, instead of gettin the obd0 ecu, dist., injectors, etc. Oh BTW, u will be using the engine harness off your civic.

LMAO! I need to put that in my sig! I haven't busted her out yet; I guess I'm not too slick. Haha.

Anyways, what are you doing with the ZC?!?! Wanna sell it!?!? Hit me up if you have a good price.

Sweet. Thats actually what I want to do, but if I could get the whole engine I'd just go that way cause my SOHC is in pieces all over the shop and half the county...

If you're talking to me, I already have the MPFI swap, running a D15B7 with PM6. If you're talking to madhatch, he already has MPFI too if he's running a ZC. Or was. Whatever.

anybody got an a1 in one of these? I was thinking of putting it in to hold over for the swap considering all the mounts are in place from the zc. Maybe bolt up the z6 head, got a good tranny for 150 bux from an si last week

A1 won't fit without custom welded mount to front of block. The A1s mount is where the powersteering mounts up on a ZC. Just get another ZC or find an Si motor to hold you over until then.
