Default Endyn girdle, anyone heard anything about it?

Anyone got one yet? Opinions? $200 sounds decent for how much of a bolt-on part they've turned it into.

up

Seems like a little better value than the Z10 one, from the slew of responses I'm gonna assume no one has bought one yet?

I would stay away from Endyn products.

IBspecRK is selling a GSR girdle if that's what you need.

Why stay away from endyn? What is the problem? The piece looks good and has the missing features that people complain about on the z10 girdle. Which is having no provisions for dowels and poor oil draining/straining.

I have followed many companies such as endyn for years and have seen and heard people talking **** and praise but with no reason to back up the **** talking. Please enlighten me.

BTW I know about the promises that never came to life on the the worlds greatest supercharger.

Just read this post and am not suprised to see people bashing Endyn . This is because Larry at Endyn has pretty much slung so much bullshit everybody gets tired of his mouth . He has some pretty decent products but usually lies and says he makes them or they are made to his spec . but in truth you can buy the exact same product from another vender . This is the only problem I see with Endyn besides his BS I would buy his product if you can get it for the same or better price of others products of the same kind .

Exactly, this looks just like the Z10 one but cheaper, I was just wanting to know if it was a good buy over the Z10 unit.

I bought my carbon fiber intake manifold from Endyn for $1200. But you could bypass Endyn all together and get it direct from the manufacturer (Advanced Induction Research) for $1900.

How do you know this? How does anyone know if these girdles work as good or better then the b18c girdles or main caps and bolts?

I wouldn't get a GSR girdle for a B20 due to all the machining that would have to go into it- The Z10, HG, Endyn parts are all pretty much plug and play. Larry has always been willing to work with me, and give advice as needed. I buy his parts and they work just as well as stated, most times better. I know all the stories that have been posted, but am relying on my own dealings with him to make my opinion. I'm just more aware of what goes on in the industry now. I am ordering the block girdle this week and will let those that are interested know how well it is-

They all require machining to install correctly, the aftermarket ones are much stonger than the GSR but I think the HG would be overkill since the B-Series bottem ends are already pretty tough. Sounds like I'll be going with the Endyn version of the Z10 girdle, just for the fact that its about $50-90 cheaper and just about the same thing.

Just so you guys know. Our girdle is stronger and the Original. And if you call us we will be glad to explain the diffrences and why. We sell our Billet 3 main girdles for $229.99 [B] And we also offer dowel pinned versions. Always have.[B]

IF anyone has any questions call us at the shop and we would be glad to answer any questions.

Thanks,

Endyn: "7075 T6 Aluminum Bullet"
"...the highest possible strength and lowest windage of any girdle on the market."
Shot-peened & premachined for dowels for $200
Z10: "6061 T6 Aluminum"
"...ours is stronger..."
"the Original" for $229
Shot-peened version is + $20
Machined to accept dowel pins? +$$?
