WHAT IS THE BEST EXHAUST FOR CRX ??
HELLO AGAIN.. IM LOOKING FOR A GOOD CAT BACK.. A FRIEND SAID GET THE INVIDIA.. BUT I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE A LITTLE LOUD.. IS THERE SOMETHING NOT GREDDY THAT SOUNDS DECENT BUT WONT WAKE THE DEAD ??
theres no such thing as the "best". if there were, there would be no competition. some say aftermarket systems are the best, some say custom systems are the best. down the line, its what you can afford.
imo, i say custom.

My wife bought me a Cat back for Christmas about 5 years ago, yes I said "My wife". This is where she bought it:

Well, Ive had 3 different cat-backs so far and they were all awesome quality and had a really low deep sound to them. RSR (invidia now I think), Thermal R&D, and the Greddy MX......
Out of all those I liked the Greddy MX the best, definately had the best sound to it and was the quietest.

I just got a pacesetter catback off eBay for $85.00 shipped. I also ordered a Thrush glasspack resonator that I welded in...sounds awsome. Very deep sounding. All for under $110.00...all brand new!

I would say from my first hand experience, Thermal R&D, and HKS. The HKS is quieter, if you like it a bit on the loud side go with Thermal, HKS is mucho deniro. I have a Thermal on my CRX and like it allot. I am putting it on my Civic and buying the 3" version once I get my turbo motor done. Great quality, great fit, great sound, but I like the HKS sound better myself. Just can't fathom spending that much cash on some stainless tubes.

Ok guys I got a new one. I just got a 90 DX and was thinking either a ZC or a D16Z6. Which should I do? ZC or D16Z6? Will I be able to beat mustangz? I haven't heard that one in awhile!!!

Get a custom exhaust done at a muffler shop. You'll save a lot of money. I have a 18 inch resonater with 2.5 inch piping and a Magnaflow straight through muffler and I paid under $200.

They don't make the MX for the civic hatch, only the crx, although it can be lengthened a little to fit the hatch, I had one on my 90 Si.........sorry no pics tho

why dont you go with Tanabe Super Racing Medallion...it sounds the nicest in my opinion and i have it on mine...my next choice would be Thermal because i think its the only CRX exhaust thats '3 inches.which is good for boost!!!
