Default Rapid blinking CEL and car stuttering.

This has been ongoing for the past several months, maybe about the last 6-8. I've already replaced the Relay and plan to replace it again just to verify that it's not the problem.

As I'm driving the CEL will start to blink rapidly, the car will stutter, and I hear the relay clicking as the light blinks. If i let of the gas for a moment it'll usually stop. In the past it's been pretty minor, but last night and today it's started acting REALLY bad. Even had it stall a couple times.

Need help guys. I'm gonna replace the O2 Sensor and Relay today, beyond that though I have no idea what else to try.

No code is given on ECU.

:BUMP:

Checked price on O2 Sensor and Main Relay.

Honda O2 Snsr = $200
Main Relay = $60

?? = It should be ok to use a bosche sensor instead of the Honda one, right?

You must have bought the sensor with leads. For $45 i can get a bosche unit with the actual plug. Gonna do that. Don't have cash right now though and the relay isn't returnable.... Not happy what so ever.

I went out and replaced the relay... same problem.... anyone have any idea's or know of a mechanic capable of diagnosing the issue? I'm in LA over by Marina Del Ray.

My mechanic isn't 100% sure of the issue. And the first thing he wants to replace is gonna cost me about 400$.

It's not a problem to pick one up. Only issue is that I have to drive my bike out to the local junk yard. That's the pain in the ****.

Same here.. I just had this problem yesterday and freaked out cause I thought my ECU was bad. I even went as far as to put in a spare one to test it. Anway, when I put in a new thermostat, it was getting dark and I was in a rush and missed the ground wire.. blink blink blink... tighten that bolt down!!

So the problem has been fixed. I was pissed off Thursday, as I was looking over the car. Decided to just shake all the harnesses in the engine bay. When I got next to the one by the DPFI the car stuttered and shut off. I made sure all the plugs where tight, started the car up, shook it again, nothing.

Been driving it since, been running great. Rear disk swap goes in tomorrow, will post pictures.
