it'll cost about $1000 from what i've heard. as far as pros and cons:

pros:
shorter gearing
more power to the wheels

cons:
it's not an automatic
pretty expensive

some would say it's not worth it, but it'll be like having a whole new car when you do the swap and i think the performance gains warrant the cost if it's something you really wanna do. do a search, at least one person has compiled an entire list of the parts you'll need, and the costs to do it.

it depends on how you want to go about doing it and obviously the budget, see, like the gentleman posted above, close to and maybe just over $1000, but then if your gonna spend that much, why not go the whole 9 yards, spend a grand more and get an entire H22 motor swap, of course there are a few extra costs involved, but as far as power to tranny conversion to dollar value, that is the way to go, or at least, my opinion, i dont know, talk to Kteller8, he knows a lot...where the hood at?

its odd you say that, see, i have 2 accords, one with a conversion and one without, i dont get to drive the one with the conversion as much as i'd like because of the roads here in NJ arent kind to lowered cars with any kind of aero enhancements, so i dont think i spend enough time shifting gears or even driving to create any kind of friction near the shifter, but i dont know, see i get that in my F series motor and tranny combo from the other accord, my daily, but again, im not sure what you mean, did you mean a full h22 conversion, or F tranny with H motor causing the heat? because that happens a lot in my F motor/tranny, yea, well, i dont know, specify, then we can ask someone who knows...
