Temperature guage in a 98 GSR?

Temperature guage in a 98 GSR?
I have a 98 GSR and I have never seen the temperature go past the half mark on my guage.. This past week it has been 44+ with the humidity. And I was pushing my car hard on the way back from work with the AC on for 50% of the trip and the AC off for the other 50% and still would not go past half. I just want to know if this is normal or is my guage messed up? MY previous cars as soon as it got hot like that it was bad news…

yeah, that's what it is supposed to do. It should stay at about 10.5 O'clock, if you know what I mean. I get freakin hot here and the gauge on both of my Integras always stay constant (that us until the radiators messed up). I wish we had tick marks on the gauge and they made it more accurate so we could tell what was happening. HTH, -C
