Stock tach needle jumps/bouces at idle and at high RPM?
Car is a 95 Integra LS with custom turbo kit. (if the turbo kit specs are needed please let me know)
Running an MSD Digital 6+ with SS blaster coil.
Problem: When the car is at normal operating temp I will notice the tach needle intermittently jump/bouce when at idle. It will always bounce after 6000 RPM without fail. (will bounce from 7000 back to 5000 etc.) What could it be? The shift light still goes off at correct point so the needle is in fact not showing the correct RPM. When it bounces at idle, the RPMS do not match the bouncing. Someone suggested maybe a faulty igniter? Is the MSD screwed? Cap and rotor have been replaced before the turbo kit was installed. Kit has been installed for 8 months now. It probably started occuring around April.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but any more suggestions folks?
Haven't had time to check the problem lately.

i had the same problem and couldnt figure it out. I checked everything. When I remove the MSD 6a itall went away. I lift the coil hooked though.
