93 accord Transmission slipping

93 accord Transmission slipping

My 93 Automatic Trans stays in first gear. Will I need to get a new transmission or replace the fluid in it first?

does the cel come on or the d flash?, most likely a trans controller . it is on the pass. side floor.

It is the Electronic transmission control unit under the passenger side floor mat. I am having the same isse and looking for a way to repair it myself instead of a junk yard or sending it out.
