i was wondering if gsr head stud bolts stretch? cause i was going to buy them off a dood, my cousin said dont buy them cause head stud stretch. is this true?

 

"studs" arent supposed to stretch. but u get "bolts" from honda. not studs

so dont get used gsr head bolts.

u would only want to consider getting aebs or arp head studs

but i would still recomend getting new of either

if u are that tihgt on money get some used arp or aebs

btw, first thing i did wiht my old gsr head bolts when i took them out of my motor with 12k miles on them was tossed them in the garbage

damn i bought them already any they had 12k on them ill find some use for them

 

ya used Head studs are like buying bald tires. it can only last so long. and its not in the best condition.

We carry AEBS now and they are only $115 a set.
not a bad price for High Quality head studs.

head studs DO stretch, i personaly would change arp head studs after torquing them down 2 times, 3 at the most. if the studs had been torqued down only once by whoever you bought them from, there fine...
