Saving money up for my JRSC for my 95 GSR motor. My motor is completely stock and was curious which other components would be a good investment before purchasing/installing the supercharger. On a budget.. bought $400 every month. So suggest what would be best valued since I can't buy everything.
Maybe forged pistons? What brand would you recommend if needed? OR maybe a port job or a larger ported Int. Manifold. What brand is best suitable for FI setup.... Any aftermarket parts that would contribute to keeping a safe and healthy motor after JRSC install would be helpful to know. Also, give your opinons on the brands as well. Which you think would be best suitable. One more thing, would you suggest purchasing same name components like all skunk2 or would you mix-n-match... Thanks alot, im sure this will be helpful to Supercharger purchasers.

OK first things first do you plan on running anymore boost than the stock 6psi pulley on the JRSC? If not have a compression and leak down test done on your motor and make sure those #'s are ok, if they are a JRSC kit with 6psi you wont have any problems with it on stock internals that will be just fine. you will need a free flowing exaust and intake, clutch and flywheel also.

 

OK, so what would the next step be for more than minimum boost?
