My car has a 98+ front bumper with ITR lip on it, an Integra LS sedan. At the moment (the bumper came with) it has a red Acura "A" emblem. The bumper is getting painted TODAY and I need to decide whether or not I want the front emblem shaved.

Can anyone post pics of an Integra with a shaved front emblem?

Back from the dead, but I was wondering, what's the best way to shave the front emblem? Since it's not like you can weld it. And it would suck to just have the bondo pop out or whatever...

 

if you're already getting it painted i say go for it. What do you got to lose? Spend the extra few bucks and get it shaved. If you don't like it, you could always put the emblem back on using some mounting tape

 

Shave it. Fill the wholes up with bondo or fiberglass.
