How long would a stock d16z6 last w/ Greddy turbo kit??(daily drivin)

Default How long would a stock d16z6 last w/ Greddy turbo kit??(daily drivin)

Want to know how long a low miles *stock* d16z6 civic would last with a Greddy turbo kit....used for daily driving on normal boost (6-7 psi??) Thanx in advance!

depends on how you drive it. if you red line it everyday. it'll most likly have a shorter life. I always beat my honda motors.

it will last forever if you do it right with low boost and such....turbos dont kill motors, stupid people who dont understand boost kill motors....do it right and you will have a fun car forever

It should last 210 days, 10hrs & 45mins.. But only if you change the oil regular!!! if not prolly around 110 days!

On a serious note there is no real way to determine how long any engine is going to last... If you take care of the engine (change the oil regular) tune it right, and don't over rev it you should be boosting for a long time...

Like Rex said ... do it the smart way and you wont have to worry as much. My Ex has 145k on it and ive been boosting for about 6 months now and now problems. Just take your time and do it the right way first.
