Default High HP Ls Integra

Looking to build a drag/steet car. Would like to obtain 350-400whp on a LS motor, the number is purley just a number and I would like to be a dork and say that I have this much power.

What turbo kit should I be looking at to get to this level??

Once again this is more of a numbers thing as opposed to a drag car, I just want to be able to tell everyone how much hp I have.

(I am actually looking into this for one of my customers, this is not my actual car, so don't flame me. Just looking for some opinions.)

man you are out of your mind.....this will be a drag car....and this will take a hell of a lot more than some aftermarket turbo. you're going to need to make a custom turbo and have mad internal work done..not to mention drivetrain. We're talkin at least 12k in upgrades. Thats probably not even a good estimate. 300hp on a b18b is TOUGH

well for the past 9 months ive been rebuilding my LS and lets just say im not gonna stop until i reach my goal (600 hp) ive put 12k in the motor so far with everything top of the line. Not many ppl can say they got 600 hp out of a b18b.

Oh, and when it comes to turbos, custom kit is the only way your gonna get those numbers.

"Function over fashion...speaks itself for this beast....anyday!"

To achieve such gains, $$$$ + lower compression than the stock LS + hardcore bottom end + some headwork + hondata + this "full race" turbo kit --- looking at 20-25 lbs of boost. its easier than said and done. you have to start somewhere. research is your friend.

I'm sure you're customer will be pleased when his/her dyno queen is getting owned by lower whp cars that actually have a decent powerband.
Explain to your customer that peak whp means jacksh*t

If he still wants the dyno queen.....then by all means go for it and on your customer.

BlueTeg, don't use such big words. This is obviously a simple man. Your advanced technical theory argument is way too complicated.

if you just want bragging rights, then build your engine and make it as bullet proof as possible. you next and pretty much final step is to add a 200 shot of nitrous. whats with all this turbo talk? compact-wise: turbos are for competition on the drag strip, nitrous is for something to brag about. not very often you see a street car that has a shot of nitrous that more than doubles the cars whp .

Full Race Turbo Kit w/ sc61, Hondata, 72lb injectors. If I could pick my turbo route over again that's what I would have gone with. That will definatly get you 400whp+.

Claimed: 491HP @ 7300 rpm
Claimed: 386 lb-ft of torque @ 6250 rpm

The only LS related piece on this car was the tranny equiped with a LSD.

Yep. That thing is nuts, but as the owner said "not a daily driver" and it's got a VTEC head if I'm not mistaken...

arite doode, 300 hp or not, u can go all motor and still hit 12 second quater miles. it sounds far fetched, but it's true. yea a turbo'd honda is nice, but too much fawking work. if b-series worked "well" (not saying they dont work at all... gonna **** off some people here hehe)but theyre just not made for it. Think about it this way, if they were meant for turbo, honda would have come out with a stock turbo'd car a long time ago (300zx, mr2, rx7, supra etc etc) none are honda. catch my drift. so if u want a fast *** honda u dont need turbo. just totally fix up your engine. new internals, blue printed block etc etc etc. there a lot of ***** that goes into it.
and yea that integra is nice, it's hella insane actually. I have the issue sitting in my bathroom hehe. but honestly who has that kind of money to get all that stuf and to always maintain it. sooooo u can still go all motor and destroy the world. hehe

pce, hope this helped a bit
