my car certainly won't pass a legit inspection...anyone know of anyplace that would be willing to help me out? anywhere in LI or NYC would be fine.

Well it's definitely not legal and i'm not condoning it...but the places definitely are there, you just gotta look carefully

Honestly tho if u could return the exhaust parts to somewhat stock so it will pass legit it would most likely save u some money and headaches. that's why i don't start making drastic changes till the day after i just get the inspection, that way i at least have some time to enjoy the car before the next inspection

 

go to a private mechanic or one thats not a franchise and tell them you got turbo and throw him a 50 right there on the spot...he'll probably pass you

Im sure there are alot of hookups out there, but did you really think by posting this you would get an answer. I mean it is illegal

we do emissions, Rochester only does safety. I know cause I just got one done before I left RIT to come home to LI and I got something in the mail to renew my registration and they said I needed an emissions test sticker #, blah blah. Long story short, I need to get a whole new safety + emissions inspection to renew my registration cause now they are starting to keep track of this in there new system. oh and BTW its recorded down here.

it's illegal to not have a catalytic converter on your car, and im sure there are more than a few cars on here without them in the US.

Going over the speedlimit is illegal, i know how many of you speed.. probably all of you.

if you do something illegal that's their decision!

 

hrmmm turbo kits are illegal, no cats are illegal like he said.and pretty much in cali, owning a honda is illegal. no one cares anymore.

 

In some states the emissions equipment dials out - anyone know what thats about?

Uhh bozo small point, the topic of the thread says " Inspection hook ups" It's pretty obvious what you wanted , but whatever yeah speeding is illegal, but this is different. The penalty/fine for something like this isn't a slap on the wrist. All i meant is if you don't have a local hookup your chances of finding one on the net is pretty much slim to none. Hey we all do stuff that is illegal, but I don't post about it on the internet , but to each his own

 

uhhhhhhh...you misunderstood me again. but i am not surprised. the "small point" i was referring to was that i wasn't expecting peoeple to post their illegal connections...i assumed that if anyone had any hookups they would be discreet. and yes, i am not trying to hide the fact that i am asking for something illegal. and...if you want to knwo how many others here ask questions regarding illegal things...do a search for "inspection," "turbo," "straight pipe," etc. ad nauseum, BOZO

 

Sorry got better things to do, but dude good luck on finding a hookup and no im not being sarcastic I understand the simplicity in getting a hookup sticker, then taking off FI setup, so i see where your coming from just didn't think you would have any luck on the net, I mean it's hard enough to find one locally and through friends.
