Patience my friends, patience! I'm waiting on some quality stuff to come out, **** ground control!

edit: they're 17x8, 48 mm offset (too high IMO ) Aesthetics-wise, I think plus-sized wheels look better pushed to the edge of the fender, but apparently Tire Rack disagrees. The tires are 215/45WR-17 Kumhos.

can you please take a pic from a front angle or a quarter shot so we can get an Idea of how the offset is I.E. if they stick out or they are tucked. I would appreciate it.

Yeah I'll have more pics but I can tell you right now it's waaaay tucked. I'm not overly pleased with the offset (48 mm) honestly. Stock offset for the 16" wheels is 45 mm and I think it would have looked better if they had stuck with that. No clearance problems, but I just like for the wheels to be flush with the fender.

looks good. waiting to see the bad boy in person tomorrow.

FYI, I swapped a stock 94GS-R rims (15x6 -45mm offset I think) to SSR typeX rims (15x7 -42mm offset) and the look was perfect. What is the stock RSX-S wheel spec? 16x6.5 -45mm?

Oh they look great on your car. It still look OK even u haven't lower it yet. Actually I won't mind getting them in 16" myself. Yeah I know stock is 16" too but SSR TypeC(Competition) is way lighter than stock. But 17" are nice too since RSX is 2.0L now, just don't get 18" anyway.

16x6.5, 45mm offset is correct. The higher offset is just going to take some getting used to on my part I guess.

Emmett, I've got a solution for you:

5mm spacers!

yessssss sireeee bob, autocrossin' is one of the reasons I bought the car. I've already heard of bad experiences with the RSX GC coilovers, and I have no use for adjustable height sprin's.

what did they say about RSX GC coilovers that was bad? what application were they using them for? stiff ERS springs on a slammed street car... off course you'll have negative feelings. if you call and talk with them, they will tailor their springs/kits to suit your needs. GC are not for everybody, but if installed on a car with a specific application in mind, they are great. you should really look into GC, and maybe ride in an RSX with them. they may end up not being not what you need, but at least that way you'll have first hand experience.

so, have you had a chance to auto-x the RSX yet? how did it compare to other cars you've used and the competition? able to compete with ITR's? rsx being new i haven't seen/heard much of them in auto-x. also, if you are serious into auto-x, height adjustable springs may come in handy sometimes...
