Sony CDX-M630....Yay or Nay??
I think i had that model before. I dont remember exactly but. it was the auto flip one wit the black face and the controls in the panel when it flipped down. I loved it. I only sold it because i wanted to turbo my car. hehe.
I bought one for my girlfriends car and if you have decent speakers it sounds great and the screen is ****** awsome. they have full graphics of snowboarders, wake boarders, surfers, a civic riced out, a tach going up and down. so yeah, its tight, buy it off ebay hella cheap from a reliable source with good feedback. take it easy

I agree, this is from a former sony headunit owner. the biggest pos HU I ever wasted my money on. it didn't play 90% of my cds
Sony are good on other areas but their headunits sucks PERIOD!

I sell Sony, Pioneer, and Alpine. Honestly, Alpines have the least problems. But up until recently, they didn't play burnt CD's really well. And they're the most expensive. Pioneers are the best bang for the buck. They have some of the best sounding units and even offer a Premier line with a 2yr warranty. Stay away from the older motorized units though. A Lot of ribbon cable failure. The Sony's, well, lets just say that 70% of Sony's income came from Playstation. They make awesome TV's and laptops though. Yeah, the car stereos could be better. They sound terrific but have a lot of problems. Everything from skipping to motorized mech issues.
