I couldn't find the answer in the archives. I understand that when I swap the b16 in using Hasport mounts, I do not need the front mount any longer. Hasport does not mention whether I need to cut the front mount off. Can I leave it?

 

cut it off or else the mount will hit against the tranny causing a vibration
-well, at least thats what i did

It probably depends on your car,but I left mine on..
Just in case I wanted to go back stock...
I have a lift so I put the engine in from the bottom
with the cross member removed so it was not in the way.
There is probably 1/4" of clearance and with Hasports
the engine does not move around much.

 

i have the front mount on my b16 swap in 91 crx.
total of 4 mounts.

it is custom. all mounts were done way back all custom. all are from some honda jus modified

 

leave the mount off you dont need it i dont have a front mount on my crx, but my hatch dose have the front, but they are the jdm mounts not hasports
