i know its been asked a million times but. . . . .
what do you guys think is truley better, hopefully from a first hand point of view;
i need a new crosmemeber, i was looking into jimfab, they seem pretty good, i hear alot of good things about them, anyone have any objections to this? anyone have any better ideas? im looking to reduce(alot) wheelhop mainly, thanks in advance guys.
BTW *i did a search and read alot, thats why i said "ive heard alot of good things about jimfab" just want a final ruling not having ever bought one,
BTW2* my setup is a 90 si with b16 and some other stuff , and another crx with a ls/vtec, i would be getting one for each car. THANKS

For the price, Place Racing, supposedly they re-inforced the new cross-members, but then JimFab has the rods included and seems lighter than stock and lighter than Place Racing, z10's cross-member has gone down in price too though...

Jim Fab or Z-10. Jim Fab is obviously cheaper. Considering the same person designed both kits, I would go with Jim Fab. I just got shafted because when I bought my Z-10 there were no other options.
hmmm, so its between Jim Fab and z-10 huh, im gonna go check out the z-10 one now, and get back to you, the only thing i didnt like to much about Jim Fab was there wasnt really a description of that particular bar, there was a discription but kinda vauge.
any other opinions? whats better in a real car, not just on paper, z-10 or Jim Fab? wich one reduces or even eliminates wheel hop more? thanks to ^^^^ you guys for your quick reply's i do apreciate it.
****ok just checked out the z-10 bar, looks a bit more beefy than the Jim Fab bar, i dont wanna just but the Jim FAb cause its cheaper i want the best i can get the first time around(although there wil be more soon no doubt lol) i just want to make sure im gettin the best, and im thinkin z-10 is the way to go about now. any other input, i would be purchasing around next weekend (next thursday is payday). and if anyone has one to sell i might be interested there to
, well let me know your opinions, thanks

I've heard that the Jimfab bars are wayy better than the Z10. I hear the Z10's can "bind" whatever that means... Never heard a single complaint about the jimfab product. I'm getting one... eventually

that binding refers different model years designs on the z10 and not our 88-91's.

True I talked to the guy who designed both units and he said only the 92-00 models had the binding issue. I saw the Jim Fabs at the Niagra meet on a few cars and it looks like there is less room for your header/downpipe. so if that is an issue I would go with Z-10. I have had no problems with my Z-10.
