Well it has been a great 2.5 years, but i think i may be selling the R. Feel as if I am growing out of the whole racing/car modding stuff. Getting sick of stupid cars revving on me all the time and all.
Hopefully i can sell the car to somebody who will use it like it is ment to be.

I am going to be looking at 2000ish BMW 3 series or Audi A4's. i still owe like 10,000 on my car now so if i can get like 21,000 for it it will be a good down payment on another car keeping the payments close.

PS Id take the bimmer over the audi, maybe an E36 M3?

 

I keep thinking I want to sell the car next summer (OF COURSE after expo 4!), and get an evo, or something like that. But then I go out and drive my car and that changes, and I want to keep it.

Or maybe I'll just finish paying off the R and get an additional car. I better get back to work, or I might not have a job when I need the additional money for a 2nd (new) car....

And again a few minutes ago, when I loaded up my car for a trip to the gym and it wouldn't start.

Yeah, I just sold the R .. nothing wrong with it, just wanted to move on after 3 years. Make sure you get something that still keeps your blood boiling - otherwise you'll regret your sale

let us know what you decide - there are a TON of nice cars out now - the Z, Evo, and Rx8 are my favorite. Bimmers and Audi's are slow (unless you get the $40,000 + ones )

not really looking for anything fast anymore. Just a car to drive, but feels nice while doing it.

I am gonna be putting the car back to stock everything in like 2 weeks. will have some things for sale then

 

I just sold my ITR a few months ago and now regret it every day. That had to be the dumbest thing I've ever done. Unlike yourself my wife and I had our first baby and needed something practable. First of all do not make the mistake I did. Make sure the person your selling the car to has a garage to keep it in. Unless you do not care about the life of this great car it will not last to these damm theives. The guy who bought mine did not even own it for three months and now the car is gone.

Think about it.

Hey Josh sorry to hear you feel that way man . id deff take the Bimmer over anything though, its still pimp and sporty, but i had a bimmer before the R, so whats that tell you lol.
i can never sell mine though its too far along ,
but yo one of my stock wheels is a little messed up , we can work a trade for the stocks maybe that nitrous kit back would be cool too. . . . . let me knwo whats for sale before hand though, i mgiht be interested in some of the stuff. just to ahve.

almost got 23,000 miles on it now.
the only mods that will come with it are Ground control Coilovers. unless i can get some stock springs for cheap before hand.

I am goign to have everything for sale, Mugen exhaust with non resonated b-pipe, JDM header(with carsound or testpipe), Icebox(with comptech arm) VAFC, JDM rear strut, and set of black steelies with good snow tires on unless the buyer would want them.
we can talk about the nitrous then.
