What am I looking for when buying a used LSD? .. I mean how can I tell its not going to be worn all to shizat.. or is an LSD really hard to mess up.. anyone?

Any/All Info Will help.. looking to put LSD in my GSR..

In his sig. he has WTB ITR LSD so I guess he'd like the helical type LSD. Nothing really can go wrong with these since there aren't any wear items like on clutch type or viscous type LSD's. Just a bunch of gears. Just make sure it looks physically okay: no broken gears, no chunks of metal missing.

Extra points if you install this yourself!!

 

ok thanks.. well I will be installing this myself w/ some friend's help.. the transmission will be out of the car while installing of course.. I can measure for the shim and everything w/ the tranny outside the car right? .. I'm thinking the install will take a couple days refering btw articles we've printed out.. talking to acura techs etc.. taking our time to make sure we did it right.. then putting in the tranny should be easy.. THANKS FOR THE HELP.. anymore would be great..

try ebay. always see low milage itr/ctr lsds for sale. usually around 300 w/o shipping.
