Default head gasket?!?!

every once in while i will blow a little bit of white smoke out my exhaust(not often)...this usually happens in the morning or after my cars been sitting...i have a one layer head gasket...could this be the problem? I also noticed what seemed to be antifreeze in my exaust...a little while ago i had to put more coolant in...a significant amount...if this is my head gasket and antifreeze comes out of my exaust(VERY VERY seldom but still it happend once) how serious is this and how much longer can i ride without breakin mah ****...i dont want to have to dump like 400 for a ****** new headgasket and **** right now cuz im broke but if i have too of course i will...how much longer can i go?

Well, I've known people who drove on bad ones for quite a while, but its not really good to.

It does sound like a bad head gasket. If you do a leakdown test, you might see bubbles in your radiator..

Hmm, $400 for a head gasket? ack.. I'd think even if you had to mill the head, you'd be less than that.

no...i know the head gasket is cheap(like 80 bucks)...im getting an OEM one...i got the one layer cuz i WAS going all motor for the higher compression but now im gonna BOOST so i was told the oem one will work just fine, and not to mention ARP head bolts which are like $140 or sum ****...i mean it would probably cost like 400 with labor if i REALLy had to pay but if it comes to replacing it...i guess my friends and i can do it so i can prally save money..!
