Default JDM Front End Installation help needed

Ok guys, yesterday I started working on putting on my JDM front end for my Civic. Everything seemed like it would work and fit correctly, but now there's some problems. The hood won't close all the way, I'm guessing because the radiator support needs to be manipulated, and I got no clue how to stick the bumper on. Of course the usdm bumper support won't work with the jdm bumper. Help please.

well this is based on my EF8 (CRX) front end:

the JDM cars didnt have a full metal support in the front, so i think you have to take that off for the bumper to fit right.. it should pretty much bolt up.

As far as the hood.. the latch is not in the correct place it to close. You need to adjust the wholes in the hood in order to move the hood latch back like an inch or so. this is the easiet thing to do. the other option is to cut and rebend the rad support to move the latch forward. the best way would be to cut and weld, although i have seen someone shim it forward with washers, but i dont recommend that.

that should be it. Hope that helps

Ok, hood, cool. Thing about the bumper is, there isn't any holes to bolt through, at least from the top that is, it doens't really even want to fit on. Is there any other cutting, or taking away of pieces that I need to do?

I used washers on mine and have had no problems with it yet. The hood lines up perfectly and opens and closes fine.

you can use your usdm support as long as you cut the ends off of it. from the two bolt holes that the support bolts to the chassis, you cut about an inch outwards (towards the ends). it will then fit under your jdm bumper fine...that, or pick up an HF bumper support.
