Word said about 5k to 6k Evos are going to be built. Isn't that's how many Type Rs were built for 2000 and 2001 each year?

I saw an evo8 around here with a loud **** exhaust gutted interior with a roll cage and a toda sticker/toda license plate frame. Made me want to die.
