1991 Honda Civiv HB STD
I have a 91 Honda Civic HB STD that I'm looking to fix up. Mainly with body kits and a new exhaust. Also looking into a vtec system for my car. This is my first time fixing up a Honda and finding parts has been hell. My tranny is a 4 speed and everything I have found has been for a 5 speed. My block is a D15 series and there is some rust on the bottom of the quarter panels and the front bumper is busted and the rear bumper has been dented into the body. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
90% of body kitsIf you want a VTEC engine there is plenty to choose from B16a, B17a1 B18c1, B18c5, but it sounds like you need to research
My advice is to leave that stock motor alone
If you do B series motor swap aftermarket parts are very popular
If the stock engine runs pretty good,do the DPFI to MPFI swap,it's a good project that is definetly alot of bang for the buck.I just finished mine about 3 weeks ago and overall it's a HUGE improvement. Most body kits for the EF look ricy,Wings West probably has the nicest body kit out there though.A ZC would be an inexpensive swap and probably the least expensive besides the D16Z6 or D17Y8.
