Default how to: dC2 rear bumper removal

just wanted to ask if anyone has experience in taking off the rear bumper for a 98 integra. i need to do this tomorrow morning so i can have that bumper sanded down and sprayed. where would i find all the bolts needed to take it off? TIA

one screw above each rear tire, then two bolts under car on bottom of spare tire well, then take out the inside cover of the trunk there is going to be a few 8mm nuts to take off the metal trim under the taillights and there are your last screws holding the bumper on.......

Be careful when you remove and replace it. I broke one of the studs that go into the trunk area just from bumping it pretty lightly.

not that simple on the first go.

Easier once youve' done it or work with someone that has. Always easier with an extra pair of hands.

It can be done in that time if you rush. You will probably end up scratching your paint and\or breaking sh*t

yup... got it off in 5 minutes. some of those push button type rivets were breaking on me tho.

dang you coupe owners have it hard... for sedans, it's just one screw in each wheelwell, two push rivet things on the bottom, and about 5 or 6 on the top. No need for a rachet set, just a flathead and a philips screwdriver
