Default Over 200 WHP possible...

I just installed Jun 3's and a 4.785 final drive on my 12:1 compression B20 Vtec. What do you guys think I will dyno? I'm looking for around 220 WHP.

What bolt-ons are you running? What fuel management?

What do u think I need to get me into the 220's I can get my hands on an ANR header. I think thats all I'm missing, that an Hondata. I also have a ported and polished head.

i would say 220-230.

Unsung EM1... the internals make the most difference thats why he only said internals. thats exactly what i would say when describing my setup. so bolt-ons and fuel is a given.. but i see what your saying.

my 12:1 1.8 vtec with only itr cams made 204whp. so jun3s and .2 more liters would help alot. i saw a 2.0 gsr with less compression and toda As make 216 with a semi-stock fuel setup

Header + Hondata should get you there. Answered your own question.

Common misconception. Name a set of cams that you can throw into a stock ITR motor that'll make 22whp. I can't name one set. Name a header that you can throw onto a stock ITR motor and make 22whp. SMSP. Point made.

I ran 13.5 untuned on street tires, I'm looking for 12.90's on street tires.

What cams? Have a dyno? We're talking a stock R motor....

Guy in the Type-R forum, can't remember his name.

This is all besides the point anyway, the point is, internals aren't the only big power maker. Hell, even Mike M says the Mugen intake is good for 15whp in certain areas, and a steady 5-10whp the rest of the way (Something like that).

hell yeah... JUN III cams gave over 33 whp to a couple of motors of mine. One was a B16 with STOCK bottom end, and the other was B20 STOCK bottom end. Both setups gave me an increase over stock (obviously) The B16 was +33whp, and the B20 was +28-we ran out of injector on the B20... but this should more than prove my point.. I agree that SMSP is good, but what about Hytech or HeaderTech? they are both just as good IMHO... I've seen dynos of all three and they were very comparable.

The 162whp line is my B16, the 189 is the CRVT

So you're saying you got 33whp increase over stock cams, and that was the only change you made? No tuning? That's insane, by far the most power I've ever heard cams make... Props if this is true.

Those are good numbers. That's impressive for untuned.
