I have a DSQ DIY Icebox, and I have a question. Once I install it, should I run with the right corner light out when I go to the track? Or just leave it in?

i made my own on my db2. just a 3" mandrel bent pipe, and cut to spec. If I hadn't relocated the battery to the back I dont think it would have fit because the filter sits right where the battery was (you g3 guys have no idea right...?)

I built my own cold air but the gains from the short ram seemed stronger...I recently just built my own Ram air. I ordered a Small Naca Duct (approx $20 shipped) and some 3" flexible black drainage pipe ($20 for 100ft...see if they have scraps) and ran it from the front bumper to the air filter.

soon to come are pictures (full write up) and a box to cover the filter and to have the piping go strait into the box... im gonna try removing the filter and connecting the pipes on track days....OHHHHWEE I CANT WAIT!

I bought used for $25 shipped... haven't installed it yet, but I'd rather pay $5 extra than have to run all over town looking for all the specific piping.

the short ram pulled stronger high end with my setup, just during the day it was getting heatsoaked. i like having my power up high instead of torque...well..its not like im gonna get any with a 1.7L so i just let the motor shine where it needs to shine.

i still am in search of the perfect intake...I am a goon when it comes to this. I might even start calling companies to make a custom design for me, but if you want track power, buy the headlight option (remove your headlight, and it becomes a funnel). or if you have a civic, crx, body kitted teg, or want to drill / cut into your bumper make a duct for it...
