the reason I asked is because I thought it was a apex exhaust, but then I went back and read. Sorry...

Um, just FYI, never turn the hex nut on the bottom of the damper as that will discharge all the gas inside!! The adjustment is made with a long hex key that you put in the top of the damper (it'll go a few inches down into the top shaft...and this is for both front and rear). For adjusting damping, with the hex key in on the top, turn it all the way CCW till it stops (this is the stiffest setting...stiffest is 13). Then turn it CW to lower the stiffness, you will feel it click each time. After you count down to 1, that's it. Tho it will continue to turn, you're not actually adjusting the damping any more. Just FYI. I already have a set of these and they're very nice!!...plus, this gives a good bump for your post. ***Remember, NEVER turn the BOTTOM ALLEN BOLT!!

Cool, I appreciate your input, what do you have yours set on, and what was it set on by default?

I'm not sure what default was as I adjusted them before I put them on. Initially, I had them at 5F/9R. That was pretty stiff on LA streets. Then, just for kicks (and some internal organ damage!), I set them to 13F/13R (max stiff) and yup!, it gets pretty rough and annoying after a 20minute drive! Good for the track, but not for the street. Right now I have them at 3F/6R...for me, it's a pretty good street setup and my gf doesn't complain too much. You still feel all of the lil bumps and irregularities in the road, but it's not bad. Actually, during highway driving going over all those stupid lil constant bumps (stupid LA highways!), I find my N1's less jolting and more comfortable than my gf's prelude with stock suspension (for now...eheh). Very good setup...I'd recommend it to anyone, especially for the price. It's definitely up there with some of the Teins, Zeals, and Fightex coilovers that cost a LOT more.
