Default What steps do I take to swap in a motor in accordance with the law? (legally)

Im interested in buying a GS-R motor for my 1995 integra. What kind of papers do I need before I buy it? Its from a private seller so I cant get a reciept. Any legal forms and does the motor Im buying have to be the same year as my current motor? Thanks for all the help I just want to do things right the first time.

You can prepare your own Bill of Sale for the seller to sign. You live in California too? That sucks. As far as staying legal, you may want to read the info at this link carefully:
