will ctr pistons fit on ls rods, and what compression would they yield with a b17 head and a stock three layer head gasket.

also on this motor i'm planning on using my skunk 2 stage 2 cams, will I have piston to valve clearance issues with this setup

CTR pistons will fit on LS rods and would yield right around 12.1-1 or a little more in the LS block. you do need to have either the pistons machined open around the wristpin or have the rods narrowed to fit. (seen it done both ways, prefer narrowing the rods) with the head not milled (just resurfaced) and the block not decked the piston to valve clearance will be fine to run the skunk 2's.
