***please check this out....(for your information)***

I attempted to buy a genuine ITR shift **** from Dave Mitchell-"Johnson" (he goes by both) in early june. 71$ (with shipping)-- and he claimed he was selling it because he didnt like "the feel" of it--and described it perfectly with "laser engraved shift pattern" and the smooth titanium feel. off went the 71$ money order to Vernon, CT, 06066. He acknowledged that the money order had been recieved after i emailed him telling him i knew he got it -- (i send all money orders u.s. pri-mail with conformation) then there was nothing. no itr ****-no response. BUYERS BEWARE. He is an internet THEIF. (no listed ph. #)

You ever think about reporting these types of matters to the FBI? Check out FBI.GOV. Report Dave along with all the emails from the first email about the inquiry of the product to the final email about the specific details of the transaction. Also, according to this post you have documentation from the USPS of the money and the delivery confirmation. File a police report with your local office, ask the officer how to pursue the matter further.

Bottomline, dont take this laying down. This post is a good start, but you have to get the feds after this guy, after its our tax payer money. Its their job to protect us from thugs like dave.

FBI.GOV...call your local field office. Ask for phone numbers, how to pursue this guy....and above all, how to nail him.

By the way, what type of theif would be so dumb as to let you have this home or office work address? Plus you have his name and delivery confirmation, and i'm assuming you saved all your emails (very important). There is more than enough information for the police and the fbi to file a case, and pursue this matter further.

Bottom line: GO GET HIM!!!!!!

ya this fool dave "the crook" mitchell took me for $75. it was for so called ctr floormats. after a month i didn't see my stuff. so i asked him what's up. every 2 weeks he would say he doesn't have any stock yet. why sell what u dont have in stock or dont know when u will get any stock? so i got fed up with his ****. and demand for my money back. the bitch refused. so i went public with the story. dave "the crook" mitchell threaten me on e-mail. saying he's gonna to come kick my *** for exposing him. i said go on right ahead. i'm all for it. the bitch never showed up... on the day he said he would. after i flamed him online for 10 days in a row. i finally got my $75 back after 2 months of this game playing. he claims to be a good seller on ebay. but from what i know he got negative feedback. that's after i found out he took my money. he use to go by the e-mail address.....damitchell@ahmeshome.com. he rip me off last year. but i did get my money back after 2 months of flame war. i hope jon gets his money back too. i hate crooks they make me sick. DIE CROOKS DIE!

 

It's pretty pathetic when someone is willing to rip you off over $71 bucks. I mean, do they need the money that GD bad? And they think there is no retribution? What is this guys name on E Bay?

 

Make a report with US Postal inspectors, who unlike the FBI, take this sort of thing seriously.

thanks guys for the responses & good ideas. using the net can turn up some of the best, most hard to find parts, but on the other hand--it's taking a big chance of getting ripped off. im keeping a list of who to watch out for -- later on -- j.

 

yeah someone should start like a referal site focused on people who sell/buy parts on the net. have a database similiar to what ebay has

as of 8-20-01 i recieved an email from dave mitchell saying he would get my cash back asap, with interest.
dave explained through the company every now and then "things go wrong" and apologized for the mix-up.
