Will '90 Civic DX hB front calipers bolt right up to my '88 CRX HF lines?
I found a 1990 Civic hatch back DX model at a junk yard near me and wanted to know if i could easily swap the front calipers off that car into my 88 CRX HF. I'm pretty sure that an 88 CRX/CIVIC DX caliper would bolt right on (correct me if i'm wrong), but i heard that the brakes from 88-89 are different from the 90-91 brakes. Can anyone help me out?
I have an 88 DX and my friend had a 90 DX, when we parted his car our calipers looked exactly the same. Hope that helps.
P.S. I am using one of his calipers for my 97 Civic.

I looked up the parts online and there are different part numbers for that 89-90 switch. If i do the brake swap i'm going to do the rotors/calipers and pads so i don't think it should be a problem. I just need someone to confirm or deny the swap from 90 civic DX to 88 CRX HF.
OK, I just put 90 DX calipers on my 89 DX. they bolted up fine. I used new pads made for the 88-91 crx's and they worked fine. I think the rotors are slightly different from 88-89 and 90-91. thats what they told me at summit, because I couldn't get the calipers to go over the rotor. So I swapped out the 89's for some 90's and they worked great.
So the calipers are the same but the rotors are different???
Anyone have any 88-91 CRX Si Calipers? I know those would work!
