What are the stock internals?

Most likely you wont gain as much assuming its an itr motor, compared to stage 1's.

I tuned with stage 1's and 2's in my itr motor, stage 1's made a little more.

not enough compression, stage 1's would be better with your application.

Unless you are gonna bump the compression and upgrade your valvetrain I'd stick with the Stage 1's

I just happen to have a Type-R running on a stock block/stock head with Skunk2 Stage2 cams. And I am using Hondata. I had the cams/valve train/ Hondata laying around from my Civic. The 'R' made 197 hp on C_A_T's Dyna Pack dyno. Subtract about 7-10 hp and that is what the car would put down on a DynoJet. Car runs beautifully. Waiting on an SMSP header, and will probably go with P30 or PCT pistons when I get the header. Goal for this car is 200 whp on a DynoJet with a stock head/block.
