I know this is kinda off topic but I had 160 to the wheels on my d16 with stock compression and 6psi boost from a jrsc. Almost identicals numbers to a stock type r engine. You could probably check the jackson racing web page for some stock dyno runs on your engine.

Not too many people do the all motor d-series thing. But just to put it in comparison, The mods it would take you to acheive about 1900-200whp on a B-series, the same relative mods usually net the d-series guys 140-150whp. Also, remember the D is little under 100lbs lighter. D's also tend to make more torque per displacement. Hope this helps some.

I saw a 150whp and I tried searching my *** off, couldn't find it. My numbers might be off a little, but you get the point, their not the best option for all-motor. Boost, that's a differnet story.

mainly i was refering to the top end.... to make the hp you have to rev it. B series valve train is better than ZC for sustained hi rpm use. but i agree with you. build it right and D motors certainly are not that bad. but machine work and labor is really the same. if cost is the same between D vs. B, which will you take? B right?

WHy would anyone waste money on a d15?? A ZC or D16z6 would get you more HP for your money, and wouldn't need the mods.

If you have a CRX HF that is equipped with the clever stripping mod's. A 1.6 liter D series motor will take you a long way.

RS Machines, Your site isnt working, but do you guys offer alot of parts for sohc's? ie, cams, springs, retainers, headwork?
