CTRs are quite different from Skunk2 Stage 2's.

Skunk stage 1's, Toda Spec A, or Jun Type II cams are all great cams for midrange power. I forgot who poseted them, but there are a couple of dyno graphs on here comparing the Jun II and Toda Spec A and it looks like the Jun II beat out the Todas in midrange power.

Toda VTEC Killers are excellent midrange cams.

If you want midrange....Skunk2 Stage 2 is definately not what you are looking for.

The best bang for the buck....CTR cams

EXAAAAAAAACTLY. i've seen CTR's destroy most stage 2 and 3 cams in the midrange. that is what the cam is designed for. they make really good hp as well. and lastly, i've yet to see an oem cam break, which is something that can't be said about any other aftermarket cam.

OEM cams can break.

Cams usually break because of install error, not defects in the manufacturing process.

Except for the first batch of Skunk2s
