wat would get more power out of a GS-R......forced induction or allmotor?????

FI would, but if you can build an AM car that can keep up with a FI car then you will get alot more respect

ive never heard that high personnally thats why i said that... but if you look at this post and the other one this guy made i dont think he has the knowlage to even think about anything close to 9500 lol.

If you wanna go in a straight line fast, I think boosting would be a better idea. For a good road car with power, all motor. I personally like all motor because it seems less problematic. I myself want to try to hit all-motor 13's someday.

definitly all motor. all the guys from my area have pretty much smoked there turboed cars. i have jun 3's with a bottle i ran a 13.9 with a 2.54 sixty foot time. need slicks to hook up. all motor will definitly be less of a headache for you and make your car fun to drive.

If you dont know A LOT ABOUT CARS then go all motor because it is safer. If you want maxium power go FI. Allmotor hondas never have as much potential as FI for raw poer and speed. However if I was a rich man I would go all motor individual throttle body!!!! 9500rpm with toda racing individual throotle bodies screaming like a F1 car....droooollll

Can't you do more with all motor? Isn't forced induction just boost....but all motor is a variety of things you can modify isn't it? I find all motor more exciting....

First of all, in order to produce any decent hp and torque from a 4-banger you need to be running some boost. Most of the engines that you guys are talking about are between 1.6L-2.0L. You can not actually be serious and think that engines that small are going to give you any type of power without blowers. In my car I am running a 3.0L inline6, and I am boosting. There is no replacement for displacement. That is the bottom line, please do flame what I am saying because it is the truth.

When a tubo charger spools it blows air into the engine, creating artificial displacement. The more displacement you have the more power you can make, so to answer your question you should boost that engine if you want to have a decently fast car.

I have an all motor honda and would recommend the all motor setup if you have a decent budget and enjoy hearing engines scream at 8000 rpms. i also would recommend all motor setups for road racers and autoX'ers.

however, if you drag race, i'd recommend an FI application. i believe FI is pretty reliable if it is built correctly, as one of my friends has a civic that has been turbo'ed for the past 2 years, running 6 psi, driven hard, with no problems yet whatsoever.

i guess it would depend on the application and budget, but personally, i'd say go turbo...

Your wise monk is a dumbass. I don't care how much "technology" is in a honda engine, without displacement any engine will not make power. Also I don't know what you guys think is a lot of boost is, but 6psi is nothing, of course your friend will have no problems. Right now I am running 10psi, which is low. Nest summer I will be boosting around 25-30psi, now that is a lot of boost.

What are you trying to prove? That you cant make power with small motors?

Tell that to the 600whp+ 2.0L Hondas rolling around. Or the 500whp SR20's. Hell, even 400whp 1.8's. Thats a ton of power from not much displacement.

I agree, displacement is important, but for the streets and for a FWD car, you can make incredible power with the technology that is available today on small motors. I think thats what that guys point was.

And in terms of the original question, which makes more power...boost takes the cake. The possibilities are seemingly endless.

Not only that, but in terms of which is better...once you boost, youll never go back. Its a different area to learn about, new modifications that create more bang for you buck...its a lot cooler IMO. Not to say all motor cars arent competent because there are some serious setups everywhere, but boost just seems the way to go in terms of power, bang for your buck and fun factor.
