well i have a vortech si and one of the pulleys went bad so ive ordered one and i have a hondata s200 well rite now with no boost if feels as if the car has no vtec, is there a safty mode? is that y i cant hit vtec? i checked the oil and it is in good condition but, still no vtec? please help im kinda getting worried!!

 

is the charger still plumbed into the oil system. if so this may cause a decrease in oil pressure. do you have an oil pressure gauge.

 

it is still plumbed but i checked the oil and looks to be in good shape, and i dont ahve a oil pressure guage, does the hondata have a safty mode that if it sees no boost it wont turn on the vtec feature?

 

no hondata (nor any other system to my knowledge) does that. it wouldnt make sense IMHO. Check your oil pressure somehow. might be it

 

i put more oil in cuase it was kinda low but it seems that it has no vtec, unless i was so use to the boost the vtec dosent feel rite any more, or the vortech compressor is blocking alot of air becuase its not spinning so less air no vtec, plus i cant hear the vtec cuase the compressor is in the way, what do you think simple? thanks for your help and any recommendation/comment is very much apperciated!!!
