wait until 10k miles to use synthetic oil(MOBIL 1 is synthetic).
use castrol gtx 10w30 for now, you'll need 5.1 quarts. GTX has a high amount of molybdenum and it great for breakin(same stuff found in the original factory fill).

i agree. castrol gtx is probably one of the best conventional oils you can use. its relatively cheap, doesn't burn off as easily PLUS it has a high amount of moly.
