Here are a few pics of what happens when your lovely wife drives your car and meets up with a flash flood. Then tries to restart it a few times... (I really don't blame her though, could have happened to me just as easily!)
Thanks Art for taking the pics!
Two of the three holes this created.
Can you say bent rod? hehe!
Thank God for Insurance, even though they are going to jack me come renewal time!

When I pulled the CAI off the tb a ton of water came rushing out. I jacked the car up some on the side and more came out from the intake manifold. Also, two of the cylinders had a butt load of water in them. Not a pretty sight!
Hites: Thanks for the offer but insurance paid for the replacement engine. I scraped my bumper, had two accidents and now this... all since I moved to Texas! Is someone trying to tell me something? hehe! I can laugh about it now! Doh!

I feel exactly the same way, 2-5 HP isn't worth it. I'm sorry about the motor however.

when your about 20 feet away from the puddle you pop it in neutral and move your right foot away, then roll through the puddle and once your like 20 feet away from the puddle put it back into whatever gear
