I have the R1's as well...everyone that talks to me about them seems to hate them. I have no problems with them at all. I have KYB AGX struts and i'm lowered about 2 inches. works great for me

i hated mine after i got my neuspeed. the r1 coilovers also bounce alot and the ride felt shatty! trust me, when u feel the difference from r1 to just regular lowering springs, its lovely, of course its different if u have better shocks.

any sleeve type coilover system with a higher spring rate
is gonna be bouncy if you have stock shocks or shocks that just can't
take that high of a spring rate. (or blown shocks, lol)

i have gc's 400F/300R with koni yellows.
anyone know the spring rates of the R1's or R2's (or whatever they are)

IMO i advise rjx to get jdm itr shocks from passwordjdm.com ..
149 for all four....for shocks that are about 20% stiffer than stock gsr shocks.
if anyone has advice please chime in.
the reason why i advise the ITR Shocks is for the price...
i just wouldn't mate shocks that are like 300+ for coilovers like the R1...
which IMO are mainly for cosmetic purposes rather than function
(i.e. slammed ride vs. track usage)

I think the r1 coilovers are 450F and 350R.

no wonder why they're "bouncy"
gonna need some decent shocks then...
